career competence Awareness Program (c2AW)

Want to find out which skills will make you particularly successful in your studies and career? Want to grow by gaining clarity about your own strengths and talents? Want to develop an individual skills profile so that you can confidently handle the demands of your future career?

Our c2AW workshop series addresses these topics and provides you with comprehensive support in linking your own (educational) background to career-related requirements.

Workshops and dates in Wintersemester 2025

Application Guidance & Competence Coaching

To gain more guidance and self-confidence in the application process, international students at the University of Siegen can take part in application advice or competence coaching. The focus here is on individual challenges and strengthening your own skills as you enter the job market and search for a job.

Can be combined with further workshops to strengthen individual competences

Have you realised during an event that you would like to further develop a skill? Or that you would like to develop it with a view to your dream job? We offer different workshops every semester that address individual skills. You are also welcome to write to us if you are looking for a suitable programme.

Points for the Employability Pass

For international students, the workshops can be credited with each 3 points towards the Employability Pass of the project “Forging International Talents – FIT in Siegen”.

Do you have a question following a workshop or in advance?

You are welcome to come by during office hours on Wednesdays or ask your question by email or phone.

Consultation hour: Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and by appointment
