During the consultation, we look at your individual challenges in the application process and develop new strategies and courses of action. At the same time, you have the opportunity to receive feedback on your application documents (CV check, cover letter).
Clarity about your own strengths & skills for your career path
In competence coaching, you will gain more clarity and (self-)awareness of your own strengths, skills, and talents. This not only leads to a better match between the applicant and the advertised position, but also allows you to present yourself in a more targeted manner in job interviews and in your job search.

Who is this offer aimed at?
This service is aimed at international students at the University of Siegen who are preparing to enter the job market or who would like individual support with challenges in the context of their application.
How do I get an appointment?
You are welcome to contact us by phone (08:00 to 12:00 p.m.) or email. You can give us a rough idea of what is on your mind and what questions you would like to discuss during the consultation. You are also welcome to contact us if you are still unsure whether counseling or coaching is the right approach for your question.
How long does the consultation last?
We will set aside one hour for your request. If it turns out that your topic raises further questions or simply requires more time, a follow-up appointment can be arranged.
Where do counseling and coaching take place?
You decide whether the conversation takes place on site at our office premises or online via Webex. Participate however and wherever you feel most comfortable.
