Writing applications can sometimes feel like writing a term paper: a blank sheet of paper in front of you, your mind either empty or brimming with ideas, and in between, the demands of daily life or the question of whether the structure and content will be understandable — and ideally inviting — to the reader, in this case the employer.
With the “Day of Postponed Applications”, you have the opportunity to refine your application materials on various topics alongside like-minded peers and experts. You can receive personalized advice or draw inspiration from workshops and interviews with local companies. In between, you’ll find relaxation and fresh inspiration to get back to typing.
The goal is clear: to take a significant step forward in preparing your application and gain confidence in how to proceed.
What you can expect of the day:
- Consultation appointments for a personalized review of your application materials
- Workshop stations to refine your cover letter and CV
- Workshops on career and skills orientation, as well as motivation and stress reduction
- Talk & Learn: Insights from companies and HR departments
The program overview will be available here shortly.
Internationals welcome!
The event is aimed equally at local and international students. Consultations, workshop tables, and company insights will be offered in both German and English. Some workshops will also be in English.
