Marcellus Menke will perform works for solo oboe during the Klang-Matinee in the foyer of the House of Science at the University of Siegen in Villa Sauer. The program includes works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Johann Christian Bach, and free improvisations based on recited texts by Patricia Pool, Max Herrmann-Neiße, and Paul Celan.

The event offers a space for encountering music and texts. A place for concentration and relaxation. The event aims to inspire engagement. It is part of the resilience project of the Career Service at the University of Siegen.

Briefly set aside during rehearsal: the oboe on Patricia Pool’s first German poetry collection.
