… on the desk in the Career Service office.

Many thanks to all the fantastic students who took part in the Welcome Week of Fak. III. It was great for us to be able to present our universities Career Service with a short workshop-experiment.
Here how it worked: Think of a situation where you were successful. What talent helped you achieve that? Take a blank sheet of paper; fold it that it becomes a paper plane. (That was the unexpected difficult part of the experiment.) Now put down words on the planes surface that describe the talents, competencies and qualifications that helped you to be successful.
And then 41 paper plains made their way to the presenters’ desk.
Here from the paper planes some skills and talents we find interesting to keep in mind:
- creativity
- adaptability
- consistency
- persistency
- consistent and disciplined
- asking for help
- competency = analyzing pros & cons before doing a concert thing.
- imagination
- empathy
- patience
- adaptive
- knowledge transfer
- foocused
- consistent
- immigrating to a new country and finding my way
- learning
- creativity
- courage
- patience
- know what tools to use
And if you, reading this list, want to add something, some skills, competencies or qualifications that helped you to be successful in your studies, in your job, just don’t hesitate and send an e-mail to info@career.uni-siegen.de . We will put your word in the list above.
